The Payroll Processor will work to ensure bi-weekly payroll is processed in a timely, accurate manner.
As well as assist with employee benefits administration.
The ideal candidate is detailed oriented with experience processing payroll and benefits administration preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Payroll Processor Responsibilities: * Process bi-weekly payroll and special payroll runs when needed, ensuring that procedures are followed, and proper HR and payroll documentation is completed.
* Maintain HRIS information system, update and input record information as required; to include setting up new employees, processing changes and paperwork for terminations.
* Completes various forms or claims for welfare, CHIP, domestic relations, mortgage companies, and requests for other payroll information.
* Assist with day to day benefit administration of all insurance and retirement plans.
Audit all benefit billings monthly and ensure that proper charges are being paid.
* Day to day processing of FMLA, disability, unemployment and workers compensation claims.
* Process all paperwork on a timely basis related to benefits, payroll changes, new hires, termination, PTO and payroll questions.
Resolve issues or problems as soon as they are identified.
* Assist compliance filings when necessary.
(OSHA 300, ACA, EEO, 5500) * Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
* Maintain employee confidence and protects employee data and payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
* Perform any other duties that may be required.
*Payroll Processor Skills & Experience* * Payroll processing experience.
* Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills * Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Knowledge of employment benefits is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.
00 - $23.
