Profound Technologies is seeking an energetic, professional and detail-oriented team member to perform accounting and administrative functions for our Audio-Visual / IT company.
 Profound Technologies is a national company specializing in the installation and service of commercial audio-visual equipment such as web conferencing and digital signage and residential home automation functions.
 The Accounting HR Administrative Associate will provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation.
 In addition, this position is responsible for Human Resource related tasks as well as administrative tasks as requested.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have strong organizational and administrative skills and be able to pay high attention to detail.
You also must be flexible and team-oriented, with demonstrated problem-solving skills to tackle the challenges you will face during independent work and the ability to achieve results in a team setting.
 Due to the nature of the work, integrity and confidentiality are required traits needed to perform well in this position.
Responsibilities may include: * Provide timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing.
 Accounts Receivable responsibilities also include light collections and input of new client information.
* Accounts Payable duties will require timely entry of bills and accurate payments to vendors to take advantage of positive cash flow analysis.
 Vendor entry and an understanding of multi-jurisdictional sales tax will be required.
  * Remote Bank Deposits and Monthly Reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
  * Bi weekly Payroll Processing and payroll application support to employees * Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Reporting * Perform Human Resource tasks including but not limited to Employee Onboarding, Benefits Coordination and the organization of employee events * Administrative Tasks including but not limited to preparation of contracts, policy revisions, collecting and distributing mail.
Qualifications and Traits to be successful: * Previous bookkeeping experience required * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
* Strong interpersonal and written / verbal communication skills * Resourceful, responsible, dependable * Strong organization and administrative skills.
* Ability to work independently and on a team * Integrity and confidentiality a must Education and Experience: * Accounting: 1-3 years (Preferred) * QuickBooks Desktop : 1-3 years (Preferred) * MS Office: 3 years (Preferred) * Accounting degree (preferred) or equivalent experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
