Tax is the place you need to be! Do you have prior tax industry, management, and/or customer service experience? As a Tax Preparer, you will play a major role in assisting clients with their tax-related needs and ensuring their compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
This is a seasonal position with flexible working hours
*Responsibilities:*
● Strong written and verbal communication required

● Interview clients to gather relevant financial and tax-related information.
● Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
● Stay up-to-date with federal and state tax laws, regulations, and forms.
● Ensure compliance with all federal and state tax regulations and deadlines.
● Review and verify completed tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
● Handle client inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
● Maintain client records and confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
● Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service.
● Keep accurate records of billable hours and client fees.
● Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
● Perform additional projects as needed
*Qualifications:*
● High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus).
● Previous experience as a Tax Preparer or similar role is a plus.
● Basic in email communication, Excel application, and Microsoft Word
● Knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations is a plus.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Customer-oriented and able to provide excellent service.
● Ability to work flexible hours during tax season.
● CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is a plus.
● You will be responsible for the tax school/certification deposit and obtaining a PTIN.
*Salary and Compensation:*
● The salary for this position is $12-$15 per hour, depending on experience.
● $500 Sign Up Bonus based on successful completion of the tax seasons
● Prepare Your Own Taxes For Free
● Tax Preparers will earn bonuses on the fees generated from the tax returns prepared.
● Additional bonuses for referrals, bookkeeping services, and financial support to our clients
