We are seeking a dynamic, detail oriented Assistant Controller to join our Finance team.
Ability to work remote.
Duties for the Assistant Controller position include:
· Assists VP of Finance/Controller with management of accounting and financial functions
· Assists with other financial aspects/projects as the need arises which include but are not limited to participating in audits and funders’ requests.
· Provides support with accounting operations including daily, monthly, quarterly and year end processes
· This position will work closely with VP of Finance and Controller on all aspects of financial operations
· Responsible to ensure data accuracy and integrity of all financial data.
· Develop, document, implement and maintain adequate and effective internal controls
· Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws, rules, and regulations
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, be able to multi-task, and enjoy working remotely on the team.

Must have an undergraduate Finance/Accounting degree in accounting or finance with 3-5 years of post-college work experience.
A strong history of using a financial software package is required (SAP preferred).
The candidate must also possess strong Excel skills.
May have the ability to work from home.
