JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
TEC Camp Resident Assistant
Summer Program Support residential assistants are needed from Sun.
July 28th-Sat.
August 3, 2024.
This position requires an interest in assisting in a dynamic, energetic learning environment.
College students with degree pathways in Business, Science, Engineering, and Education, with an interest in entrepreneurship-related topics are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must display a commitment to diversity, co-curricular education, and sustainability, and should have excellent communication skills.
In addition to week-long programming, there will be a mandatory training session held prior to the start of the camp.
Lehigh Valley LaunchBox offers a Teen Entrepreneurship Challenge camp to students in grades 9th-12th for a week-long residential camp at the Penn State Berks campus.
Program Support residential assistants will oversee the following:
Assisting Instructor and students with projects
Monitoring students during evening activities
Supervising small group break-out sessions
Promoting a fun and inclusive environment that contributes to learning
Assist in delivering a safe, high-quality programmatic experience for high school students.
Requirements include:
Available during the portion of formal instruction hours
Must be available for all breakout sessions, instruction time, and evening activities
All staff members must take Reporting Child Abuse training per University Policy AD72
This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• FBI Criminal Background Check

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
