*Responsibilities:*
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and children
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting-Care for patients by changing bed linens, washing and ironing laundry, cleaning, or assisting with their care.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals
- Create a safe and supportive environment for clients by implementing behavior management techniques and promoting resident rights
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are followed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and recreational activities as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in client's condition.
--Entertain, converse with, or read aloud to patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert.
*Skills:*
- Experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care, childcare, or hospice care is preferred
- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for working with individuals with behavioral challenges
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to follow care plans provided by healthcare professionals
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to adapt to different care settings and work within established systems and protocols
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
