Overview:
As a skilled PICK Programmer, you will support the design and implementation of intricate software solutions utilizing PICK Basic and Prelude databases & software.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the seamless delivery of support related cases, adhering to established best practices, standards, and procedures.
Additionally, your role will encompass providing backup support to the lead progammer to optimize workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities:
7-10 years of experience in design, development, and support of Pick/Multi-value applications
Strong Prelude experience a plus
Knowledge of basic programming languages like C, C++, Java, or Python.
7-10 years of experience in database administration and support of PICK databases: Provides the following system development functions-analysis and design, software development (including new coding testing, documentation, and implementation) and maintenance of both new and existing software applications.
Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities:
Manage Level 3 software support tickets, ensuring proper documentation of resolution steps to provide to supporting technicians.
As needed, provide programming support to Lead programmer or handle specific programming requests to spread out workload.
Travel up to 15% may be required for this position.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and competing demands.
Provide additional support functions, including monitoring critical application processes, scheduling processes, and user processes.
Respond to critical alerts promptly and offer on-call support functions as needed.
Leverage experience in supporting users and management on a minimal technical basis.
