Our team in Reading currently has an opening for a Product Owner – Commercial BI
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and communicate Product vision and roadmap; ensure alignment to company strategy
Define Epics, manage and prioritize the Product backlog on an ongoing basis
Work with internal and external stakeholders to define Features from Epics
Understand current and future customer and user needs, define features, determine success criteria, validate solutions, and evaluate customer satisfaction
Ensure the team has the full context and understanding of the customer and business environment to create valuable solutions
Provide oversight of strategy, technical, and transition management aspects
Assess the business impact of different solutions and the trade-offs between customer needs and technology requirement.
Lead release management efforts with collaborating teams to determine the optimum release strategy and milestone deliveries.
Analyze and communicate customer adoption, performance, time to market, quality and other metrics to stakeholders
Ensure Product priorities have necessary funding and review cost of accepted features
Build a high performing team and nurture a strong partnership with stakeholders
Understand how features are performing, the level of customer satisfaction, and provide suggestions for improvements
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree (B.
S.
) in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering or related field
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
3+ years of experience in data product management, or leading reporting and analytics solutions
Experience working with Agile teams
Experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, Atlassian preferred.
Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, LEAN, Kanban, XP Programming etc.
Previous experience as a team lead
Advanced understanding of the Agile principles and methodologies and how they’re applied in workplace culture
Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
In-depth knowledge of the relation between business process and the Products in the Program
Effective collaboration and relationship management
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally
Experience resolving issues with higher levels of management
Experience leading cross-functional work
Proven ability to respond to and prioritize changing demands effectively
Experience leading others in resolving complex issues
Ability to anticipate customer needs
Experience in developing innovative solutions
Preferred:
Master’s degree (M.

or MBA) in information technology, computer science, economics, statistics, engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in enterprise data analytics, reporting, and data products
3+ years of experience in large-scale software development with emphasis on analytics and high-volume data processing
3+ years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional, highly analytical and technical teams and enterprise wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
Experience with advanced analytics techniques, such as factor analysis, predictive modeling, logistic regression, cluster analysis, segmentation, attitudinal/motivational analysis, concept/copy testing, sales forecasting, response prediction, advertising effectiveness, consumer profiling, marketing mix and ROI measurement
3+ years of relevant product or program management experience in B2B distribution, e-commerce, finance, retail, operations, and/or business management/consulting with a proven history of delivering results
