We are looking for CDL Class A OTR Drivers who can stay minimum 3 weeks on the road with 3 days off or longer who are passionate about the open road, customer service, and delivering goods safely and efficiently.
As a part of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and secure transportation of freight across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain company-provided Class A commercial vehicles.
* Transport goods over long distances in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
* Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
* Load and unload cargo, and ensure it is properly secured.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
* Maintain accurate logbooks and records.
* Communicate with dispatch and customers effectively.
* Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
* Maintain a clean and organized truck.
Qualifications:
* Valid CDL Class A license.
* Minimum of 3 years of OTR driving experience.
* Clean driving record with no major violations.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Must pass drug and alcohol tests.
* Must be able to lift and move heavy objects.
* Reliable and punctual.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
* Valid CDL Class A License: All applicants must possess a valid and current CDL Class A license.
* OTR Driving Experience: A minimum of 3 years of over-the-road (OTR) driving experience is required.
Proven experience with long-haul routes is preferred.
* Clean Driving Record: Candidates should have a clean driving record with no major violations, such as DUI/DWI convictions or at-fault accidents, within the past 3 years.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication with dispatch, customers, and team members is essential.
Strong English language proficiency is required.
* Time Management: The ability to work independently and manage time efficiently is crucial to meet delivery schedules.
* Problem-Solving Skills: OTR Drivers may encounter various challenges on the road.
The ability to make quick, effective decisions is important.
* Safety Compliance: Candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure the safety of themselves and others on the road.
* Drug and Alcohol Testing: All candidates must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests in accordance with federal regulations.
* Reliability: Punctuality and dependability are essential traits for this role.
