CSA Delivery Driver for Organic Vegetable Farm

Taproot Farm is a 200 acre Certified Organic diversified vegetable farm seeking a delivery driver to distribute its Community Supported Agriculture weekly share boxes.
Now in its 15th season, Taproot Farm employs up to 20 people in the height of the farming season.
We have a great team and we work together to grow high quality produce and serve our appreciative customers while being good stewards of the land.
*Part time & Full Time Position Available: * Tuesday-Thursday, Driver Only _Additional days available Monday, Friday & Saturday on the farm or at our farmers’ market if interested.
_ Our distribution includes 30+ locations throughout the week.
Routes include Berks & Lehigh County, the greater Philadelphia area, and parts of New Jersey.
*Background and Skills required:* * Clean Driving Record * Experience driving trucks, box trucks & urban driving * Knowledge of general vehicle repair and maintenance * Familiarity with delivery area * Ability to work well under pressure * Strong communication skills * Quick on their feet * Can easily lift 50 LBS * Spanish language a plus *Compensation:* * $18 per hour starting wage.
Wage is negotiable DOE * 2 week paid vacation for year-round employees * 3 days sick-leave * Free produce for eating, preservation, etc.
