Veterinary Receptionist

```Duties``` - Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments - Collect and update patient information in the computer system - Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal restraint during examinations and procedures - Provide basic pet care instructions to clients - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area - Process payments and handle financial transactions - Manage medical records and ensure accuracy ```Requirements``` - Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred - Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism - Basic computer skills, including proficiency in using veterinary software systems - Familiarity with animal husbandry, including proper handling and restraint techniques for various species - Knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample collection is a plus - Experience with equine or large animal care is desirable but not required - Ability to handle dogs of all sizes, including training in dog handling techniques This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about working with animals.
