EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
As a Registered Nurse Instructor, you research, plan, develop, implement, coordinate and evaluate an effective orientation program for all new nursing employees.
You also evaluate and document each new nursing employee's progress during the orientation period and develop, schedule and present professional educational resources and service training programs which meet the licensure regulations, standards and requirements of the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs, Department of Health, Department of Public Welfare, Veterans Administration and other official organizations.
In addition, you research, develop, plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate lesson plans on a variety of health-related topics based on facility and staff needs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40-hour work week.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
