Cashier In Charge

Accountability: Store Manager Status: Full Time or Part Time (Up to 28 Hours); Non-Exempt Purpose: To assist in providing supervision, customer service, and keeping the store and dock running smoothly.
Qualifications: Experience in leadership and organization Able to take initiative without a lot of direction Experience in the retail environment Ability to be courteous and sociable to customers and donors Dependable Integrity Willing to adhere to Jubilee’s Mission Statement, Core Values, Statement of Faith, Position Statements, and Employee Code of Conduct Working Conditions/Physical Factors: Occasionally= 1-33% Frequently= 34-66% Continuously= 67%-100% Lifting (under 25lbs) -Frequently Reaching/Grabbing-Frequently Standing- Continuously Bending- Frequently Interacting with and Assisting Customers and Donors- Continuously Exposure to various weather conditions - Frequently Duties: Provide an excellent customer service experience for everyone who enters the store or visits the dock.
Assist in resolving customer complaints and returns in absence of manager or supervisor.
Operate the register as scheduled.
Assist in opening and closing store and dock as instructed.
Assist in keeping shelves and racks full and displayed attractively and assist in keeping store clean.
Be alert for shoplifters.
Process donations according to policy.
Decline unacceptable donations.
Assist with loading purchases or unloading donations.
Assist with keeping the dock clean and organized.
Be part of staff meetings and team building.
Other duties as assigned.
