Manufacturing Engineer

*POSITION OVERVIEW* dormakaba is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer based in our Reamstown, PA facility.
This role will report directly to the Engineering Manager and work closely with the local operations and engineering teams.
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing optimal and cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: *Base Salary* $72,000 - $85,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

*WHAT YOU’LL DO* * Develop and implement effective manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment * Establish manufacturing routings and processes by designating the operations required; the operations sequence; the tooling required, and the machines and equipment required * Drive resource planning for current and future projects; perform drafting and facility layout work to accommodate plant growth * Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout * Evaluate production processes to determine the appropriate production rates for staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions * Work with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes * Design and implement LEAN manufacturing methods to optimize production processes *WHAT WE REQUIRE* * Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering or Technical discipline * 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with extensive experience in manufacturing and assembly processes * Knowledge and experience developing and implementing LEAN processes and working with ISO 9001 and 14001 systems * Experience with automation, machining principles, CNC programming, machine tool design, CAM software and familiarity with Solidworks 2020, GD&T and machine design principles * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings * Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes/machinery *WHAT WE PREFER* * Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering degree * Knowledge of ESPRIT software package *WHAT WE OFFER* * Taking Care of our Employees on Day One with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
