Responsibilities:
Summary:
Manage Maintenance personnel and activities to ensure machines and other equipment are repaired, installed and maintained efficiently in order to meet production needs, along with established company and
department goals.
Responsibilities:
Operate department within budget.
Reduce operating cost through efficient operation of manufacturing and building equipment.
Create and maintain a safe work environment.
Supervise employees and activities in the Maintenance Department.
Develop and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
Set priorities for maintenance repairs.
Manage expenses for Maintenance shop and make recommendations for capital needs.
Evaluate down-time and efficiency reports.
Drive process improvements.
Work with vendors on projects.
Enforce all company policies.
Oversee new hire training and continuous training to improve efficiencies.
Follow applicable food safety and cGMP policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
College Degree or Technical Certificate preferred.
1-2 years manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
Advanced technical training or applied experience with hydraulics, industrial electricity, electronics, and control systems preferred
Additional training may be required to retain position
Must have good knowledge of all manufacturing and building equipment including but not limited to Injection Molding machinery, auxiliary equipment, lining and assembly machines, and compression machines.
Must have experience in maintaining all support equipment such as but not limited to, HVAC systems, tower and chiller systems, vacuum loading systems
Must be able to read all hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical blueprints.
Must know PLC’s and electro mechanical relay control system.
Proven ability to lead, motivate and direct employees.
Strong organizational and communication skills with proven ability to multi-task.
Must have excellent problem solving ability and good judgment.
