*Key accountabilities & deliverables:*
* Provides general and preventative maintenance support to help equipment meet/exceed operating standards in the areas of quality, cost, safety, customer satisfaction and productivity as well as minimizing downtime
* In support of production, needs to effectively and efficiently adjust Temperature(s), Belt Speed(s), Air Flow, Coating Viscosity/Flow Rate, Bagger speed and functionality and Conveyors and weigh scales
* Performs preventive maintenance to ensure that machines run at their maximum capacity through cleaning, lubricating, greasing and/or oiling
* Performs facility maintenance including assisting in servicing and replacing minor plumbing fixtures and performing minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician
* Participates on special projects as directed by the Maintenance Manager
* Expected to occasionally make recommendations for continuous improvement (productivity, quality, cost and/or safety).
* Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, on time and in accordance with Company guidelines.
* Work with common hand and power tools, such as hammers, saws, drills, wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
* Follow and comprehend verbal and written orders.
* Communicate with employees particularly with regard to proper and safe utilization of equipment
* Able to work alone or as a team member.
* Able to perform Machine Operator tasks.
* Follow all plant safety and GMP rules and regulations.
* Assist where needed/required in all food safety and quality issues or programs.
* Follows all safety and GMP safety rules and procedures.
* Other Duties as assigned
*Skills & Experience:*
* Experience in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment
* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
* Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
* Electrical experience
* MS Office
* Excel / Spreadsheets
*Qualifications:*
* High School diploma or equivalent
* HACCP (Food Safety) and Food Quality
