Benefits Start Day 1 for Full-Time Colleagues - No Waiting Period! What does our Infrastructure Senior Manager do? This role will lead a team of engineers who will be responsible for managing and overseeing relevant aspects of the organization’s information technology systems.
This includes the implementation, and maintenance of all relevant IT systems, as well as the management of staff responsible for these systems.
Works closely with other IT leaders and business stakeholders to develop and implement IT strategies that support the organization’s goals and objectives.
Also ensures that all relevant IT systems and components are operating at maximum efficiency and effectiveness, and that they are in compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and standards.
Manages cross-functional relationships required to execute product strategies and creates and maintains a plan that enables teams to operate effectively.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Manage teams with medium to large size (at least 2 or more tech stacks with more complexity), consisting of direct reports, indirect reports, and third-party service providers (where applicable).
Think and articulate strategy over long time horizons.
Think broadly and cross-functionally about areas outside of teams/org’s primary responsibilities.
Manages cross-functional relationships required to execute product strategies and creates and maintains a plan that enables teams to operate effectively.
Work closely with the Director of Infrastructure, product owners, business partners, IT PMO, Solution Architects, and other stakeholders (QA, operation, etc.
) to deliver quality technology services to meet business and operational needsManaging and overseeing the installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of all relevant IT systems and components.
Ensuring that all relevant IT systems and components are secure, reliable, and scalable, and that they are in compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards.
Leading and managing a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Collaborating with other IT and business leaders to align IT initiatives with business objectives and ensure that the IT systems support organizational needs.
Assist in developing and managing IT budgets, including forecasting and cost management.
Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT, and making recommendations for improvements.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and service providers, assists in negotiating contracts and agreements, and ensuring that service level agreements are met.
Assists in development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure that IT systems can recover quickly in the event of a disruption.
Providing regular reports and updates on IT key metrics and KPIs.
Ensure documentation of relevant areas is maintained, accurate, and up-to-date.
Budget Management: Assist in managing IT budgets.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance.
Limited travel ~10% On call rotation, after hours support Required Experience BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar technical field or equivalent 10+ years experience.
Four (4) years leading an infrastructure team.
Strong technical knowledge and experience in relevant IT systems and components.
Extensive experience in developing and implementing IT infrastructure strategies and plans, in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Extensive knowledge of relevant policies, regulations, and standards related to relevant IT areas, including security and compliance.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Extensive experience in working with and managing IT budgets, including forecasting and cost management.
Extensive experience working with IT vendors and service providers.
Extensive experience in developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
