Copperhead is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and explosives by a talented group of operators.
*Position Overview:*
The Production Supervisor is a key member of the organization reporting to the Operations Manager.
The supervisor directs and coordinates day to day activities of operators engaged in the manufacture of explosives and pharmaceuticals.
Operations are dayshift, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime.
The supervisor makes a direct impact on the success of the business and company relations with the workforce, regulators and customers.
*Summary of Responsibilities:*
· Supervision of personnel in accordance with company policies and the labor agreement.
· Departmental adherence to EHS requirements, regulations, policies and expectations.
· Departmental adherence to quality requirements, regulations, policies and expectations.
· Timely and cost effective manufacture of products.
· Professional conduct demonstrating integrity, purpose, care, and respect.
*Summary of Requirements:*
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, related science, or business.
· Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
· Skill in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Ability to participate effectively as a member of a team.
