TotalRecycle is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team to work at a cutting-edge recycle center in Birdsboro, PA.
The successful candidate will oversee personnel and production activities of a team of production workers.
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will evaluate, repair, adjust, and maintain equipment, and rebuild and install as required industrial machines used in manufacturing and production operations.
Must have own tools.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Ensures proper operation of large industrial equipment
* Use hand tools, and power tools, measuring instruments and lifting devices, jacks, hoist etc
* Ensures machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modifies and fine tunes machines.
* Disassembles or dismantles machines to perform repairs
* Troubleshoots and repairs machines as required for safe operation.
* Performs preventive maintenance
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
* Ability to weld a plus
* Electrical Experience a plus
Required Skills/Abilities: *Thorough and broad understanding of a variety of equipment.
*
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Thorough understanding of safety practices, guidelines & rules
Education and Experience: *Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED *Two years of experience in an industrial setting preferred
*Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing, stretching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling required.
*
* *Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
*
* *Visual acuity to properly inspect and modify large and detailed portions of machinery.
*
* *Manual dexterity to assemble, disassemble, adjust, and relocate machines.
*
_*Pay Rate:*_$20-40 per hour, dependent upon experience
1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available
