We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Heavy Civil Estimator / Project Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our dynamic team.
This role will not only focus on estimating but will also involve project management responsibilities, providing a unique opportunity for a well-rounded professional.
*Responsibilities:*

Estimation:*
* Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential opportunities and risks.
* Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for heavy civil projects, including earthwork, utilities, roads, and other infrastructure components.
* Collaborate with the bid team to develop winning strategies for project proposals.
* Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and solicit competitive quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.

Project Management:*
* Assume project management responsibilities for awarded projects, overseeing their successful execution from initiation to completion.
* Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
* Collaborate with project teams to establish and track project schedules and milestones.
* Implement effective communication strategies to keep all stakeholders informed about project progress

Vendor and Subcontractor Management:*
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
* Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors to ensure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing.
* Monitor subcontractor performance and address any issues promptly.
*4.
Risk Management:*
* Identify and assess potential risks associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies.
* Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in heavy civil construction.
*Qualifications:*
* Proven experience as a Heavy Civil Estimator with a minimum of 4 years in the industry.
* Strong proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Thorough understanding of heavy civil construction processes, materials, and methods.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but not required.
