Over the last decade, Compass Ironworks have been experiencing steady growth in their offering of estate gates and gate automation packages.
Now, having installed numerous gates from New England to Northern VA, we have a significant need for a driven individual to be added to our team to help create gates, and manage the installation and maintenance of these gates.
We do seek someone with experience in gate automation/fabrication, but we hold greater value in a candidate that is willing and excited to learn and can add value to our team through creativity and mutual respect.

*Job description for Gate Automation Technician/ Gate Fabricator*
· Cohesively work with our team as we provide the best quality for both our clients and our employees.
· Assist in the installation of estate gates and take lead on installing the gate automation systems through wiring and programing the systems.
· Maintain, troubleshoot, and service gates and automation systems on that have been installed by Compass.
· Take lead in design and purchasing of the gate automation systems.
· Pre-assemble gate automation motors, sensors, etc.
before site installation.
· Travel to and work directly with clients.
· Weld/ fabricate custom estate gates and other ornamental fences.
_As Needed: Weld and fabricate railings, staircases, and other structures for our affluent clientele.

Pay: Up to $27.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
