*Job Description:* American Machine is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team.
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for packing, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in products that are shipped, and maintaining a well-organized environment.
You will work directly under the Operations Manager to help synchronize production and shipping timelines.
This position plays a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
Responsibilities * Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect items for damage or defects.
* Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely, labeling packages accurately, and selecting appropriate shipping methods.
* Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups or deliveries as needed.
* Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic inventory management systems.
* Organize and maintain the warehouse space to optimize efficiency and accessibility.
* Assist in performing periodic inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
* Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any shipping or receiving issues.
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Assist in other warehouse-related tasks as assigned by management.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.
