Assist with the following responsibilities:
Assist with Planning, directing and managing field crews and projects from start to finish in a timely and cost-efficient manner
Manage shop and field employees on daily bases, coordinate with project management, owners, shop personnel, etc on daily schedules, material, labor, and equipment needs
Work with project management and field personnel on all safety issues and implementation
Visit job sites, inspections, meetings as needed
Work with mechanics and owner on equipment needs, costs, repairs required, scheduling service and repairs.
Review material and equipment needs on all projects, evaluate pricing and order components as needed
Perform detailed material takeoff's for mechanical equipment, piping, concrete, etc
Coordinate heavy equipment needs and transportation
Oversee small shop as well as all facilities.
Coordinate maintenance as needed
Assist with preparing daily work schedules for all field personnel
Review times sheets, approve, submit to accounting
Oversee shop deliveries, review for completeness
Review and coordinate shop inventory for piping, welding equipment, mechanics, electrical components
Communicate responsibilities, expectations and pertinent information to appropriate personnel and management.
Review scope of work with project managers and field personnel for all projects
Adjust timelines, processes, responsibilities, etc.
as necessary and keep all personnel informed, including updating data bases.
Schedule and attend regular meetings with appropriate personnel to review projects
Ensure field crews have all appropriate paperwork for project, plans, submittal books, directions, safety checklists, etc
Ensure all health and safety regulations are being followed and report and resolve issues
Handle unforeseen challenges in a calm manner, keeping budget and customer in mind.
Requirements:

Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts and project schedules
Experience in mechanical trades, pipe fitting, excavation, preferred

Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
Problem Solving/Analysis

Neat, clean and professional appearance
Familiarity with automated construction accounting software platforms
A working knowledge and understanding of MS Excel and Office Software
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Degree or certification preferred, not required
