We are looking for a Brewer to join the team at America’s Oldest Brewery.
Based in Pottsville, PA, this person will primarily be responsible for:
Brewing, Fermenting, Aging, and Filtration of beer.
Assisting with QA Checks.
In place cleaning and sanitizing hoses, vessels, and equipment.
Working independently without supervision to accomplish shift work.
Communicating with all Operations Department Personnel.
Must be willing to work overtime as needed based on production schedule.
Must perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisor.
Requirements:
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to use a fork lift to unload trucks of brewing materials.
Ability to work at elevated heights: top of fermenters, rail cars, silos.
Ability to unload railcars of bulk brewing materials.
Required Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent statement can be added for education level.
Proficiency with computer skills and data entry.
Experience in manufacturing environment is not necessary but preferred.
Experience with hands on work and mechanical aptitude is preferred.
