In the Medical division, you will work with our customers to make pioneering contributions to disease prevention and health restoration worldwide.

Under direct supervision of the Facilities Technical Group Leader, this role coordinates and performs maintenance and repairs to production and facilities equipment in our temperature controlled manufacturing facility and the grounds of the company.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities.
Maintains documentation of same.
* Performs various testing and monitoring of facility to meet safety, regulatory and quality performance standards.
* Assists in the setting-up of equipment, workstations, and work cells.
* Inserts tools into machines and makes adjustments such as timing, indexing, feed rate, speed, sensing devices, and other machine parts that conform to engineering specifications and standards.
* Maintains production and quality logs/records.
* Maintains tools and work area to 5S and safety standards.
* Repairs or replaces defective parts on machinery or within the facility.
* Starts machines to test their performance.
* Assists workers in repair of basic machine adjustments.
* Shovel snow, treat grounds with ice melt and operate snow blower in winter months.
* Will be required to drive company vehicle to pick-up/drop-off parts and equipment and any other miscellaneous business errands requested by Manager.
Additional duties may be assigned.
*EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*
*MUST HAVE* High School Diploma or GED; prior technical experience of 1+ years is a plus; have general ability to operate a personal computer and have basic software knowledge; operate powered equipment; be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to work on ladders and/or scissor lift and pass a background check with the ability to drive a company vehicle.
A current, valid PA Driver’s License is required.
