As a Composite Technician at Hydrojet, you will work with state-of-the-art composite materials such as carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, honeycomb core, and more.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills and contribute to advanced Aerospace projects.
*How you will spend your time as our Layup Technician:*
* Perform basic lay-up techniques using pre-preg material
* Use basic hand tools in a safe and efficient manner
* Prepare tooling and mold surfaces for production
* Prepare composite components for curing process by applying proper vacuum bagging methods and procedures
* Ensure parts meet quality standards using inspection tools such as rulers and calipers
* Quality of work meets expectations
* Maintain a neat and orderly work area and comply with all safety regulations
* sharpen/care for company issued scissors
* Complete work orders and customer documentation
*You will be successful if you have:*
* A high school diploma, or equivalent
* Minimum of six months of work experience or technical training, preferably in manufacturing
* Ability to read and understand manufacturer instructions
* Basic math and measuring skills
* Attention to detail is strongly required for this position
* Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
* Desire to continuously learn, excel, and refine your skills
