1st Shift Fabrication Operator ️ Position Summary: (FSLA non-exempt) The Fabrication Operator will build, weld, and curve custom plastic components from mechanical drawings to meet or exceed customer requirements.
The Fabrication Operator will ensure interminable and efficient running of production to current manufacturing procedures to maximize efficiency and profits.
️ Responsibilities: - Working Knowledge of machinery (band saw, table saw, hand router) - Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Basic measurement competencies (calipers, micrometers, etc.
) - Ability to inspect, measure, and package finished products in accordance with customer requirements.
- Keep records of conforming and nonconforming products.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues that might occur during shift.
️ Qualifications: - Proven experience in plastic welding or thermoforming.
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement equipment (e.
g.
, calipers, micrometers, ect.
) - Understanding of production procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.
g.
, constant use of protective gear.
) - Analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
