This role is located on 2nd shift.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Have good knowledge of requirements for each line when it comes to tear down and building the line back up.

Perform prescribed preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Perform disassembly, overhaul and reassembly of plastics processing equipment.
Assist in identifying, investigating and recommending solutions for repeat equipment failures.
Continue to improve technical skills through formal, informal and hands-on training.
Work overtime as needed to meet the production areas schedules.
Actively participate in driving improved safety, productivity and equipment reliability.
Responsible to have all required parts ready and available including all hardware and all electrical components ready as well.

PERSON REQUIREMENTS:

permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.

under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Minimum of 4 years industrial mechanical maintenance experience or related experience.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
WE VALUE:
Demonstrated ability to read mechanical drawings and correctly apply this information to troubleshoot and repair or assembly equipment.
Demonstrated commitment to work safely and to perform complete and safe repairs.
Demonstrated ability using personal computers for spreadsheet and word processing applications.
Ability to safety and productively work alone and employ sound troubleshooting techniques and make sound decisions with little supervision.
Ability to stand for up to 2 hours, walk ½ mile, climb and descend mild grades, climb and descend stairs and ladders, squat for up to 5 minutes, kneel for up to 15 minutes, frequently lift and carry up to 8 pounds, occasionally lift and carry up to 35 pounds, and work confidently from ladder or scissors lift.
Working knowledge of installation, preventive care and servicing of pumps, gearboxes, blowers, mechanical rotating equipment, belts and bearings.
Welding and machining experience is a plus.
