Direct Wire & Cable is currently seeking a *Maintenance Technician *to join our team! This role will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on our equipment and facilities while ensuring safety and quality standards at Direct Wire.
*Responsibilities:*
* Maintain preventative maintenance on machinery in a manufacturing environment
* Assist with the daily, weekly, monthly preventative maintenance procedures, maintain maintenance records records
* Work with production to schedule preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
* Perform a variety of skilled work in the maintenance and repair of Direct Manufacturing facilities, building and grounds and ensures all are maintained to Company standards
* Follows appropriate safety practices and procedures according to Direct Wire standards
* Monitor spare parts inventory, storage and organization and ensure spare parts are ordered in a timely manner
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or GED required
* Education and training beyond high school level in general maintenance and repair
* One year of experience in industrial maintenance including both mechanical and electrical - technical training strongly preferred
