Position Description: *MACHINE TECHNICIAN*
*Job Description*
Summary/Objective: The Machine Technician position conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service in addition to ensuring trays are produced in the most efficient and effective way possible.
*Essential Functions*

Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs
Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Comply with OSHA safety and health rules
Start-up any machine that has been taken out of operation
Changing rolls in a timely/continuous manner to ensure process does not impeded production
Operation of machinery while in production, including the continued inspection of machine parameters and data tracking of parameters
Continuous communication with production workers as well as fellow machine technicians to ensure machine functions as normal
Daily completion of relevant reports
Upholding all Clearly Clean Products standards including quality, conduct and production standards
Ensuring trays are produced within Clearly Clean Products quality standards and in the most efficient and effective way possible

The Machine Technician is responsible for the execution of the following programs:
Preventive Maintenance Routine
Temporary Repair Procedures
Machine Clearing Procedures
Maintenance Best Practices
Work Order Completion
Food Safe Identification
Efficient and thorough tooling change to thermoformers
*Work Environment*
The performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
? While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations.
? The employee is?occasionally?exposed to a variety of extreme conditions.
? The noise level of the work environment and the job site can be loud.
*Physical Demands*
Walks, sits, stands, bends, twists, lifts, and moves continuously during working hours; is subject to lifting over 30 pounds; is subject to repetitive motions.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; the hours will vary based on your scheduled shift; minimum 40-hours per week.

No travel is expected for this position.
*Required Education and Experience*
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical training; exposure to high-speed equipment
2+ years of related experience in packing machines/production machines
