Job Summary
This Sr.
Supervisor Operations-C&M directs and manages company employees and outside contractors in the safe, reliable, and cost-effective installation and repair of UGI gas distribution facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Directly Supervise UGI and Contractor employees in the safe, reliable installation and maintenance of UGI Measurement and Regulation facilities.
Develop and implement cost saving measures within the Operations Dept.
Work with employees as a group and individually to develop and enhance skills required to perform work in the most productive and safe manner possible.
Complete all required paperwork and computer inputting as required.
Respond to and take a leadership role in emergency situations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential.
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office experience preferred.
Working knowledge of the collective bargaining agreement and pipeline construction agreement.
Knowledge of UGI policies and procedures including Gas Operations Manual.
Ability and desire to work within a group in a team environment under stressful conditions while maintaining focus on safety, cost controls and employee development.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license during course of employment.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
5 plus years of progressive natural gas experience.
