Essential Job Functions:
Inspects operations/facilities to establish preventative maintenance schedules and other routine maintenance needs for all company equipment
Cover for supervisor in case of absence.
Will have to learn supervisors’ day-to-day functions
Handles repairs to equipment, building and related areas on timely basis following safety standards and procedures
Establishes emergency repair procedures to maintain operations
Requests and maintains supplies, parts, etc.

Prepares reports/checklists relating to jobs to be done and completed
Works in all areas of the building trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and others)
Assists in planning of work to be done
Works with and communicates to plant management on status of projects
Operates and maintains company vehicles
Responsible for maintaining quality, authentic, safe, and legal products.
Any other duties as requested directed or assigned by the manager/supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.
2 + years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance
Licenses / Certifications:
Valid PA.
Driver’s license and willingness to operate motor vehicles in the course of employment
Forklift Certification
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Working knowledge of tools, materials, methods and practices used in manufacturing and maintenance.
Ability to operate power and manual tools
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Equipment to Be Used:
Maintenance employees will become familiar with all company machinery and equipment

Any specialized safety or other training required

Typical Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 55 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
