Job Summary
The Insulfoam Designer/Estimator's duties will include generating tapered designs, piece counts, and price quotes for EPS Insulation projects from various lead sources.
The individual will advise and assist architects and engineers to help secure the specification of EPS Insulation products while working with the Insulfoam sales team and contractors to consult on designs, troubleshoot onsite issues, and provide general customer support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpret, Design, Estimate, and communicate daily quotations on projects with EPS Insulation in the specification.
Work daily with Architects, General Contractors, and Contractors on design and budgetary constraints.
Communicate with contractors on revisions to projects to close the sale.
Generate working shop drawings for submittals.
Research construction projects to review specifications, qualify as leads for follow-up, and work closely with sales and design teams.
Provide onsite customer support, job startups, installation expertise, and field verification where needed.

Basic Roofing industry knowledge.
Must have a strong knowledge of the commercial construction market and its business practices.
Must have a strong fundamental understanding of EPS and XPS foam insulation product lines.

Education & Experience Requirements:
Education:
Associate's or Technical Degree in Drafting, Construction Design, Construction Technology, Mechanical Drafting or similar.
Experience:
1-2 years' experience in a related field.
Work Environment/Time Worked:
Office setting with occasional travel
Monday-Friday; 8:00 am-5:00 pm
