Entry Level Maintenance - Hatchery Utility

Maintenance Utility Pay: Up to $20hr based on experience **Entry Level Position** Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform Preventative Maintenance when issued.
Troubleshoot and correct issue as they arise to any equipment (Incubators, hatchers, nova-tech etc.
) Maintain inventory parts to keep equipment preserved and working properly.
Maintain and perform PM exhaust fans for Egg Washroom, RO Water system, incubators, etc.
Perform general building maintenance, maintaining generator, lighting, electrical, plumbing, heating, etc.
Answer alarms on assigned shifts.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.
Report any animal welfare related issues to management immediately.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Required Qualifications Degree / certification from technical school or 3 years of production maintenance experience required Experience with HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, preferred, and electrical, preferred.
Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload.
Strong ability to communicate effectively through speaking, writing, and reading.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of animal welfare and GMP practices is required.
Ability to independently make decisions with minimum supervision.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to legibly write entries for record keeping.
Basic personal computer skills: knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to satisfy all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies.
Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures.
