New Construction Superintendent

_*New Construction Superintendent*_ *JOB DESCRIPTION:* We are seeking a self-motivated and organized Custom Home Builder - Superintendent to join our team! You will oversee the activities of our team of sub-contractors and work with the new homeowners to build top quality custom designed homes on a scattered lot environment.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Manages construction in multiple home construction sites with 30-60 homes under construction * Drive from jobsite to jobsite to conduct inspections and train contractors daily * Coordinate the daily activities to complete the schedule for each home on time * Ensure that sub-contractor work quality and performance adhere to Company policies * Develop and communicate each home construction schedule to sub-contractors * Train, Coordinate, and Inspect work of contractors to ensure quality standards * Adhere to all safety policies and procedures * Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and building sequence for each project * Obtain all governmental and local jurisdiction required inspections * Establish and maintain construction site budgets; ensure budget compliance * Conduct pre-construction meeting with Chief Operations Officer to review contract, options, schedule, etc.
* Develop and maintain positive relationship with Customer Service to resolve issues * Work with homeowners daily to provide the best experience in Custom Home Building * Other duties as assigned *QUALIFICATIONS:* * General knowledge of construction practices * Strong Handyman background * Ability to work under pressure; organized * Ability to multitask; coordinate numerous activities and groups of people * Highly motivated; ability to work with minimal supervision * Strong team player; works with diverse groups of people * Commitment to customer service * Ability to read and fully comprehend construction blueprints specifications and development plans * Ability to coordinate performance action plans * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Computer skills to schedule and communicate Education and Work Experience *High School graduate or GED equivalent.
* Prior experience in supervising, handyman or assisting in new home construction projects preferred, BUT NOT REQUIRED ( WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON ).
