Purpose/Scope The Project Executive will play a critical role in providing strategic leadership, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within the respective region.
This is a leadership position that requires a strong background in project management, exceptional organization, corporate agility, communication skills, and the ability to drive results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete ownership of project lifecycle post-sale.
This includes all internal and external customer-related milestones.
The focus is not managing the day-to-day job level details, but rather having oversight over all functions including the Project Manager who will lead projects throughout their lifecycle.
When failures arise from the PM or other functions, this role will have ownership in correcting course.
This will require engaging with senior-level leadership and actively pursuing resolution.
Shared responsibility for divisional financial performance including sales scope development, engineering accuracy, estimating accuracy, plant schedules which optimize resources, contract risk mitigation, field and hauling performance, etc.
This responsibility will require relationship development with each functional lead to more effectively drive accountability and improvements in other functions.
Oversight over hauling functions and post-production logistics execution.
This will include working with estimating, FP&A, yard operations and our procurement including our 3PLs.
Responsibilities will include assuring effective solutions to support the yard and field operations with a focus on financial optimization.
Responsible for ensuring successful execution of all project managers assigned projects.
Supervise and assist a team of project managers and other team members.
Responsible for the development and mentoring of all respective team members.
Set yearly development goals for their team members and work closely to track progress, provide support and guidance to achieving these goals.
Evaluate assigned team members’ performance, identify training needs, and conduct necessary training.
Partner with sales leadership to satisfy customers’ needs when there are escalated project issues.
Educate team members about client strategies.
Ensure required project tasks are executed and compliant.
Responsible for the execution of regional customer contracts.
Utilize a key direct reporting role, Sr.
Project Manager, to help monitor day-to-day activity and decision-making for projects, utilizing the WIP, hours report and other appropriate information.
Monitor project schedules and budgets.
Facilitate weekly scheduling meeting.
Participate in company-wide scheduling activities related to production and field.
Understand schedule status of all assigned projects and help establish/execute schedule recovery efforts when necessary.
Monitor and review job costs.
Facilitate and participate in job cost meetings.
Represent Fabcon with Customers, Owners, Consultants, Vendors, and Subcontractors in a courteous and professional manner.
Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction as identified by the customer survey and Fabcon company goals.
Manage and focus on client partnerships and retention, regularly communicate to ensure satisfaction.
Build and strengthen effective partnerships with customers to help expand the business.
Partner with Human Resources and Management Team to recruit needed project team members to ensure proper staffing and maintain balanced workloads.
Actively participate in company-wide initiatives to further key company goals.
Assist in the development and implementation of Fabcon policies and procedures to achieve established Fabcon goals and support Fabcon mission and core values.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field 10+ years of project management experience 5+ years of experience in the construction industry Other Required Qualifications Ability to understand and depict gaps in processes and drives towards a solution.
Focusing on what makes projects successful and being proactive in accomplishing milestones.
Senses issues or troubled areas and can provide preventive measures.
Ability to understand internal customers and their roles while being a leader in collaborative efforts.
Excels in working in a team environment and does not allow pride to get in the way of progress.
Additionally, can push other teams to the finish line without causing friction.
Focuses on fact-based communication to nurture progress towards a common goal.
Expresses empathy towards people and situations while possessing the ability to motivate others.

Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in engineering, business, or construction management Proven experience in project management, preferably in leadership or director-level role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align project management with overall organizational goals.
In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Physical Requirements Ability to travel up to 50%; some travel by car and/or airplane may be required.
Traverse uneven ground Spatial awareness/depth perception to interact with heavy machinery and hazardous obstacles.
Move 25lbs (not for all jobs, reasonable accommodations will be made), work with a computer for extended periods of time Work Environment This position works in an office environment with the opportunity to work remotely when needed.
In addition, there will be travel to the plant, yard and field construction sites.
