Minimum Qualifications for IDC Assistant
Must be 18 years of age
Must be able to pass a PFT test, Color Test, and Fit test for respirator.
Pass all pre-employment screening
Authorized to work in the US
Must be able to train on 1st shift
Essential Functions:
Assist in Pre-matching all running inks to the master standard or last run standard supplied from the production packets
Assist in Color-matching all press support totes to the press sample provided.
Supply all production run needs, (totes, coatings, materials) to presses prior to production set-up start.
Maintain ink dispense material volumes under each dispense pump and agitating adequately.
Maintain all solvent and hit drums/buckets for presses.
Assist in maintaining pump calibrations on a routine basis.
Retrieve and return raw materials and residue ink from ink inventory and update the computer inventory system accurately.
Complete production turnovers.

master proofs from press production samples for next run

Maintain housekeeping in the department including tools, machinery, drums, equipment, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Assist Departmental and Production Management in all needs in and outside of the department as well to ensure the completion of the entire production process in the plant.
Skills Required for IDC Assistant:
Willingness to work overtime as required
Strong communication skills
Proven commitment to safety
Comfort with working at heights
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office software (i.
e.
, Excel, Word, and Power Point)
Ability to read and understand manuals, specifications, drawings, and schematic diagrams
Attention to detail and excellent follow up skills
Must be self-motivated with excellent time management skills
Ability to work with little or no supervision
High attention to detail
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs
Must be able to differentiate colors to match ink colors
Flexibility to bend/stoop, squat, and kneel repetitively during shift
Ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for a shift
Ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for a shift
Ability to walk extensively throughout the plant for a shift.
Work Schedule:
Must be able to train on 1st shift
2nd Shift - Monday - Friday 02:00pm = 10:00pm
