Viwinco is searching for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our Operations Leadership team in our Morgantown, PA headquarters!
This role will lead our Continuous Improvement efforts in the areas of our ongoing Strategic Lean Integration and Process Engineering.
The right candidate will be able to illustrate their proven track record in implementing effective and sustainable lean methods, processes, and strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Owns the deployment plan for the ongoing lean adoption/ integration while working with leadership across various functions
Lead process engineering continuous improvement efforts for process improvement, product quality, process quality, lead time reduction, and cost reduction
Provides leadership and coaching on lean principles and daily management at all levels of the organization to ensure adherence to Viwinco’s Performance System (VPS)
Develops and leads continuous improvement activities, such as Kaizen, specifically the planning and facilitation
Drives team to support the value-added production work through hands-on involvement on the production floor focusing on overall safety and process improvements
Designs and implements corrective actions to eliminate wasteful or ineffective practices, processes, and procedures
Identifies, develops, and facilitates training modules and programs that further organizational continuous improvement competency and skills
Utilizes data-driven, process problem-solving tools to improve process capability and optimize performance
Ensures continuous improvement strategies and goals are aligned with Viwinco’s overall performance targets and goals
Proactively identifies and deploys change management strategies
Effectively manages projects and communicates progress to meet established objectives
Works with consultants and vendors to accelerate lean integration and continuous improvement
Monitors continuous improvement initiatives through KPI tracking communicating progress to key stakeholders
Participates in layered operational audits
Required Skills:
Expert ability to leverage and train continuous improvement/ lean methods and processes into daily work
Proven ability to lead continuous improvement activities, such as Kaizen events, resulting in operational efficiencies and/ or process improvements
Strong ability to manage projects and problem solve
Strong written skills and ability to effectively assemble proposals
Outstanding communication skills, able to effectively convey messages across multiple departments
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field of study
At least 6 years in a manufacturing environment
At least 4 years managing people and/ or oversight on continuous improvement projects
Experience in a Lean Manufacturing Environment Required
Lean and/ or Six Sigma Certification Preferred
Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish Desired
Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications and/ or creating visual presentations, charts, and/ or plans using design software
