Duties:
- Perform installation and assembly of various items, including frames, cabinets, fixtures, and trim
- Utilize carpentry skills to complete tasks such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and drywall installation
- Install locks and perform locksmithing duties as needed
- Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation
- Use hand and power tools to complete installations
- Apply caulk and other sealants to ensure proper fit and finish
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in carpentry or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation techniques
- Familiarity with locksmithing principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
