*Job Overview*: As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Electrification Stacks, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and manufacturing processes of our cutting-edge products.
Your responsibilities will include designing, coordinating, and documenting various aspects related to Electrification Stacks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the safety and quality of the manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical engineering and industrial processes.
*Salary*: $90,000-105,000 plus a 10% annual target bonus.
*Location*: Onsite, Reading, PA
*Note*: US Citizens and Green Card Holders only can apply for this position.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Collaborate with technical and engineering teams, external specialists, and contractors to design and coordinate the manufacturing of Electrification Stacks.
* Develop and document designs for parts and fixtures specific to Electrification Stacks.
* Support manufacturing and prototype testing activities, working closely with technical and engineering staff and external experts.
* Maintain a well-organized, safe, and secure workspace associated with Electrification Stacks programs.
* Analyze key process measures and develop corrective actions as necessary.
* Assist in implementing solutions to equipment safety and quality issues.
* Act as a technical interface on process, product, and maintenance problems.
* Perform any other duties and special projects as assigned.
*Requirements:*
* A four-year college degree in Mechanical Engineering is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a preference for candidates experienced in processing, equipment design, fixture design, manufacture, and testing.
* Specialized knowledge of electro-mechanical engineering and design, including principles, standards, methods, practices, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and statistical process control (SPC).
* Knowledge of lamination stacking processing equipment is a plus.
* Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Fixture Design, Metal Stamping, Machine Design, Mechanical Design, CAD, Stress Analysis (FEM), Physical Metallurgy, or Automation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, project management abilities, and strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to solve moderately complex problems, think innovatively, conduct detailed technical literature reviews, and interpret technical drawings.
